Raquel Shutt - Owner of Wedding Savvy, Inc.

Raquel Shutt is the creator and owner of Wedding Savvy, Incorporated.  Prior to starting Wedding Savvy, Raquel served as the Wedding Coordinator at a local hotel. During her time there, Raquel saw a need for a planner who was committed to serving the client’s needs with integrity, knowledge, passion, and kindness.  Raquel started Wedding Savvy in 2002 with those goals in mind.  She is proud that those goals built an amazing foundation that has resulted in numerous awards and over 10 years in the industry.  Raquel constantly strives to bring new ideas and visions to her clients and make each and every event unique, magical, and reflective of her clients.

Raquel earned her MBA from Loyola College in 2004.  She resides in Annapolis with her wonderful husband of ten years, Jeremy, and their three sons: twins Michael & Perry, and Little Jeremy.  Raquel enjoys participating in the community as a volunteer coach for her children's sports teams as well as serving in her home parish church of St. Andrews by the Bay.   Lastly, Raquel volunteers her planning skills to many local non profits and other in need charities.  It's important to Raquel that Wedding Savvy is used to make a positive impact in the community.  She is a wife, mother, friend, and committed to your happiness.
